Social Studies- EARLY PEOPLE PROJECT- By the end of the weekend, most kids should have a solid draft of their written piece of the project completed and their materials ready for the project-type piece of the project. I also feel they should have a small start on the project or hands-on part. The museum day where parents and guardians are welcome to come and see all the 6th grade projects is October 9th from 11:30-12:30.

Dear Mrs Dufield: As you probably know, Lucía hit her face yesterday while playing. This morning she was not able to go to school because her face was inflammated and her neck pained her. She is working on the project and hopefully she will be ready soon. I expect to be ready to go back to school on Monday. Germán Palacio, Lucía's father.
