Language Arts: Today we focused on what makes a meaningful introduction to our memoir- what hints at the bigger picture and theme. If you look at the two examples above, the authors hint at their vignettes (or bullet points) in their introductory paragraphs. This is purposeful and part of what good writers do. Homework: ALL vignettes (3-5) are written in first or second draft form- due Friday March 11th.
