Language Arts: As realistic fiction writers, it is essential to understand what your main character yearns for or wants. We used the sentence frame above to turn our blurbs into a succinct story summary. Homework: For Monday, you need 3 sentence frames completed.
Reading: Duffield rotation- Worked on our ABC books that will summarize a fictional novel. Above you will see 2 examples of a planning sheet for the project and a cover for the student's ABC Book. Homework: ABC book are due April 21st.
Mrs VanOoyen's rotation: Each person will be getting 7 different grades. 5 of the grades are their journal entries for the chosen job. The due dates vary, since each group created their own calendar of meeting dates. The two other grades will be the discussions and use of class time. All journal entries need to be completed by April 22nd.
Olsen's rotation- By Friday, students should be at least halfway through their book they are reading.
Social Studies: Completed Quiz 4 and worked on our jobs within our clan.
