Language Arts:  We spent some more time gathering ideas for our SHORT realistic fiction stories. The poster shows some of the ways that fiction writers find ideas. We then wrote blurbs for our ideas that need to be about 3-4 sentences. Homework: Come to class tomorrow with at least 3 blurbs written. 

Reading: Duffield rotation- Worked on our ABC books that will summarize a fictional novel. Homework: ABC book are due April 21st. 

Mrs VanOoyen's rotation: Each person will be getting 7 different grades. 5 of the grades are their journal entries for the chosen job.  The due dates vary, since each group created their own calendar of meeting dates.  The two other grades will be the discussions and use of class time.  All journal entries need to be completed by April 22nd.

Olsen's rotation- By Friday, students should be at least halfway through their book they are reading. 

Social Studies: Battle Day 3! Quiz 4 will be given at the start of class tomorrow.
